Janki Jhula is a recently built three-lane suspension bridge over the holy river Ganga, that connects Kailash Gate Rishikesh (Tehri Garhwal) side to Ved Niketan Swargashram (Pauri Garhwal) side.
Once you’re on Pauri Garhwal side, The Beatles Ashram and Parmarth Niketan Ashram are close by. From this side of the bridge you can take a nice walk along the banks of the Ganges through many local shops of varieties going passed Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula respectively.
Janki Jhula is an attraction for both tourists and locals because of it’s location and peaceful atmosphere. You also get a very beautiful panoramic view of Ram Jhula and the temples.
